This flagship 3-day course offers a rare opportunity to observe a full “live” smile makeover case where clinical instructors predictably prepare and deliver veneers — from start to finish. Participants gain an intimate, over-the-shoulder view of every step.
Course Objectives

Module 1 — The Aesthetic Dental Practice

Module 2 — Advanced Smile Design: A Multidisciplinary Approach
- Macro aesthetics, mini aesthetics, micro aesthetics
- Digital dentistry and smile design
- Photography and videography
Module 3 — From Plastic to Ceramics
- The aesthetic mockup
- Advanced preparation guide
- Teeth preparation design — when and why?
- Supra and sub-gingival placements
- Provisional stent fabrication
- CAD/CAM veneers, shade taking, impression techniques
- Live over-the-shoulder veneer preparation and provisionalisation
Day 2
Module 4 — Practical Occlusion in Restorative Dentistry
- Review of occlusion
- Management of occlusion in aesthetic cases
- Bite management, cases to avoid
Module 5 — Case Presentation Skills
- Handling the aesthetic patient vs regular patients
- The new patient experience
- Identifying the “pain”, building trust
- Finances, case management and team approach

Instructors
Dr Jerry Lim
BDS (Singapore), FRACDS (Australia), FICD, DICOI. Director of ADDA. Completed undergraduate dental training at NUS in 1995. Fellowship from The Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons by examination in 2002. Part-time tutor with NUS. Special interest in aesthetic and implant dentistry, with lectures delivered in Singapore, Taiwan and Indonesia.

BDS (Singapore), DGDP (UK), FRACDS (Australia). Director of ADDA. Graduated from NUS in 1992. Awarded the FAC Ohlers Gold Medal for Best Clinical Student and the University Silver Medal for Best Student. Adjunct lecturer at NUS. Fellow of RACDS, ICOI, and FICD. Diplomate of the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners, Royal College of Surgeons of England.
